Our Story

Nestling Minds was founded in 2023 by Ashu Sharma, a Counseling Psychologist with over a decade of hands-on experience in working with children, adolescents, educators, and parents. Ashu’s journey began in school systems—where she worked closely with students navigating anxiety, peer pressure, low confidence, and behavior issues. While teachers and parents were eager to help, she noticed a consistent gap: most schools lacked structured mental health frameworks or emotional learning tools to support children’s psychological growth.

Through years of counseling and conducting workshops, Ashu saw how emotional issues—when left unaddressed—manifested in classroom disruptions, academic underperformance, low motivation, and even long-term behavioral concerns. Teachers often felt burnt out and ill-equipped to manage the socio-emotional side of student development. Parents, too, struggled to decode their child’s emotions or respond effectively during stressful phases.

This growing need inspired her to create Nestling Minds—a dedicated platform to promote emotional resilience, psychological safety, and healthy relationships within school communities. Rooted in both education and psychology, Nestling Minds blends evidence-based mental health strategies with age-appropriate tools, counseling, and capacity-building. The mission is simple yet powerful: to nurture emotionally stronger children by empowering the adults around them—teachers, parents, and caregivers—with the right mindset, knowledge, and support.
